These lists refer to average trailer operation with a maximum of 10,000 km driven per year:<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Tire wear, wheels<\/b>
Check the condition of the tires (e.g., cracks, porous areas) and measure the tread depth in the center of the tire. Inspect the rims for visible damage (runout, lateral runout) and, if necessary, have the wheels replaced or repaired, either axle-wise or in pairs.<\/p>

Towing ball coupling, overrun device<\/b>
Inspect the components for any visible damage and check their proper function and wear. Oil or grease the overrun brake mechanism. Replace any defective bellows or secure them if loose. Clean the brake pull rod and lightly grease it if necessary. Check the breakaway cable for presence and damage.<\/p>

Support wheel\/support feet<\/b>
Check the support wheel and support feet for functionality and stability, and lubricate the components at moving points.<\/p>

Lubrication work<\/b>
Lubricate the overrun brake mechanism, the brake linkage (if applicable), the jockey wheel, the hinges of the side panels (if applicable), and the superstructure. Lubricate the ball coupling and apply oil to the relevant points.<\/p>

Fastening screws<\/b>
Check all fastening screws for tightness (see tightening torque table in the User manual<\/a>Pay particular attention to screw connections in the chassis area. Tighten any loose connections immediately. Have screw connections replaced if they show signs of wear or corrosion. If necessary, have loose rivet connections replaced with screw connections.<\/p>

Lashing points, lashing equipment<\/b>
Check lashing points (eyelets, rings, buckles) and lashing straps, chains, and ropes for damage and presence, and replace them if necessary.<\/p>

Oil the bearing bushing and the drum hub, and grease the sprocket, the threads on the crank, and the idler pulley.<\/p>

Hydraulic system (pump, hoses, cylinders, connections)<\/b>
Check the functionality of the hydraulic system, inspect for hydraulic oil leaks, and have the system repaired if necessary. Inspect hydraulic hoses for cracks, aging, and wear. Clean and lubricate the hydraulic cylinder connections.<\/p>

battery<\/b>
Visually inspect the batteries for external damage or leakage of battery acid. Charge weak batteries and replace defective or old batteries.<\/p>

Loading area\/loading bridge<\/b>
Visually inspect the surface for damage, rust, and oxidation. Thoroughly clean and maintain the loading area (as needed). Treat the wooden floor with linseed oil, turpentine, or wood stain (as needed).<\/p>

Superstructures (e.g. sideboards, railings, sideboard extensions, H-frame, tarpaulin \/ bows, cover, etc.)<\/b>
Inspect the superstructure for damage, cracks, and deformations. Replace or repair any defective or damaged components. Check and, if necessary, lubricate latches and hinges. Verify that all attached superstructures are securely fastened and functioning correctly.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
