The HGK Deluxe Tandem refrigerated trailers offer everything necessary for the safe transport of chilled goods: the refrigerated compartment is constructed from 60 mm thick PurFerro sandwich panels with a polyurethane foam core and a galvanized and powder-coated steel coating on both sides. The 65 mm thick insulated floor features a non-slip surface for safe loading and unloading, and its increased friction also aids in load securing. This floor provides optimal insulation, preventing cold air from escaping downwards. The double-leaf refrigerated doors are lockable but can also be opened from the inside in an emergency. They are connected to the trailer body via stainless steel hinges. A 150 mm high aluminum rub rail is attached to the interior walls. The frame and chassis are made of hot-dip galvanized steel, as is the welded rear portal. Four swiveling telescopic support legs ensure the trailer remains stable. The HGK Deluxe Tandem's frame is made of anodized aluminum, as is the rear rain gutter. A suitable tandem refrigerated trailer is available for every need: models with a permissible total weight of 2000 kg to 3500 kg are offered, with payloads ranging from 1329 kg to 2229 kg depending on the model, and loading heights varying between 590 mm and 630 mm. The integrated refrigeration unit from the brand-name manufacturer Govi maintains a temperature inside the trailer of +2°C to +10°C. The unit operates on a 230V mains supply and functions up to a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C. Due to its design, cooling while driving is not possible with these trailers.
